Sculptural Timber Restaurant Furniture Concept

A contemporary restaurant built around broad timber sections and grounded shapes. Open portal-like chair backs, flat arm rails and dark seat pads give the armchairs a strong outline. Elongated tables on blade supports and straight modular dining sofas extend that language at a larger scale, with room between the furniture groups.

Space 01

Broad chair frames beside a long table

Flat timber sections give the armchairs a more architectural outline. Blade supports sit beneath the elongated top; their position should leave the table ends usable and the armchairs free to move.

Space 02

A sofa built for dining height

Straight modular seating offers a supported alternative to the open armchairs. Large separate cushions sit on visible timber rails; develop the seat depth and tabletop overhang for dining use.

Space 03

A low cabinet with a strong outline

A wide smooth-fronted credenza repeats the timber sections at a lower height. Oversized square pulls give it a distinct detail while keeping its storage and work surface straightforward.

A closer look

The details make the room.

An open back framed in solid timber

The broad rails and leather strap give the chair its silhouette. Review the actual side-frame construction, arm height and strap attachment without relying on the image as a structural drawing.

Two blades carry the long top

Inset blade supports give the table a clear structure. Confirm the span, joint detail and support position with the proposed tabletop construction and occupied seating layout.

Strong furniture with space around it

Broad frames and dining sofas need visual and physical breathing room. Loose groups and clear service routes keep the scale intentional rather than allowing the heavier furniture to crowd the plan.

The material edit

Four finishes. One direction.

Sculpted oak

Broad sections make grain direction and joints part of the design. Confirm solid timber, veneer and structural details separately for each component.

Olive leather

A back strap adds a flexible surface within the open chair frame. Review support, attachment and the selected leather’s maintenance requirements.

Oatmeal upholstery

Separate cushions soften the dining sofa while leaving the rails visible. Resolve cushion movement, seat support and cleaning access.

Amber accent

A small warm glass accent complements the timber without changing the furniture family. Decorative lighting is a reference and requires separate project coordination.

From idea to specification

Before you order

Allow for broad arms and side frames

The chair’s strong outline also occupies more floor area. Test pull-out space, arm clearance and occupied chairs around the long tables before confirming capacity.

Coordinate the table span and supports

An elongated top needs a resolved structure. Review the material build-up, blade positions, underside fixing and serviceable connections with the selected maker.

Make the sofa suitable for dining

A lounge sofa’s depth and back angle may not suit a meal. Set the dining sofa height, cushion firmness and table overhang together on the actual plan.
