Turn your room mix into a hotel linen order
BSA Trading supplies hotel linen and textiles through sourcing and production partners. Start with the bed and bathroom schedule, then agree stock levels with housekeeping and the laundry. Order quantities depend on room types, pieces per room and the number of complete sets held in rotation.
- Sheets, covers & pillowcases
- List mattress width, length and depth for every bed type, plus duvet and pillow sizes. Specify fabric composition, weave, finished dimensions and the laundry process for sample approval.
- Towels, robes & slippers
- Record the size, fabric composition, towel weight, colour and branding for each item. Check an embroidered sample and laundering results before confirming the opening order.
- Par levels & replenishment
- For example, 100 identical rooms × 2 bath towels × 3 complete sets = 600 bath towels, before any separately agreed reserve. This is an arithmetic example; housekeeping sets the actual par level.
- Curtains & upholstery fabrics
- Keep these separate from washable linen. Share window dimensions, fabric width, pattern direction, lining and the project requirements for performance and supporting test documentation.

How do I calculate quantities for a hotel linen order?
For each room type, multiply the number of rooms by the number of each linen item in a room, then by the agreed par level. For example, 100 rooms with two bath towels and three complete sets require 600 bath towels before any separate reserve. Housekeeping and the laundry should confirm the actual par level, sizes and replenishment allowance.
What hotel linen do you supply?
We supply the complete hotel linen scope: bed sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, bath towels, hand towels, face cloths, bathrobes, slippers, curtain fabrics, upholstery fabrics, and decorative soft furnishings. Custom embroidery and branding are available for hospitality projects.
Are your fabrics fire-rated?
Fire requirements must be specified for the intended application. BS 7176 and Crib 5 concern upholstered seating and its composites; NFPA 260 concerns cigarette ignition of upholstered furniture components. Curtain and decorative-textile requirements must be identified separately. Current test reports must cover the exact supplied fabric and any lining, filling or assembly required by the project; naming a standard does not confirm compliance. Bed linen and towels are specified according to their own hospitality-use standards.
Do you supply large hotel opening orders?
